Admissions
Student admissions
King’s College London Mathematics School provides a unique opportunity for the brightest and best young mathematicians to stretch themselves and prepare for further study and work in the mathematical sciences.
The school aims to widen participation in the mathematical sciences by supporting young people from backgrounds currently under-represented in these fields. Our application process reflects this aim.

360 virtual tour
During the COVID-19 restrictions, we were not able to host open events. We decided in response to make a film and a virtual tour showing prospective students our building. The film is complemented by videos introducing applicants to staff members, students and members of our alumni community. Please note, this film features our former Head Teacher Mr Dan Abramson OBE. We are aiming to produce a new film in 2024 featuring Mr Timothy Bateup who joined us as Head Teacher in September 2023.

A Level results 2025
The Class of 2025 attained superb A Level results. Across Maths, Further Maths & Physics A Levels, students achieved a record-breaking 71% A*, 92.2% A*-A and 95.7% A*-B grades. On average, students achieved two-thirds of a grade higher per entry than predicted by national data. An incredible and record-breaking 42% of our leavers secured places at Oxford and Cambridge with the vast majority of other applicants going on to highly competitive universities such as Warwick, Durham, Bath and UCL.
