King's College School Wimbledon

King's College School Wimbledon (KCSW) is one of the top performing independent schools in the country, and is widely heralded as providing an education of exceptional quality. It shares an essential historic feature with King's Maths School in that it was set up by King's College London - some 150 years ago. It was recently crowned by The Times as the London Independent Secondary School of the Year.

The Head Master of KCSW, Andrew Halls, has been a champion and active supporter of King's Maths School since its very beginnings. He generously gave of his time and expertise by becoming one of our founding governors, and has ensured that a senior KCSW member of staff has held a place on our governing body ever since.

The governors of KCSW have been keen supporters of King's Maths School and have helped to ensure that our school has been able to provide mathematical enrichment and development at the very top end, and also to provide professional development for teachers of mathematics across London.
