Idza Idros

Ms Idros is the Assistant Head (Academic) at King's Maths School and is responsible for the timetable, the calendar and the smooth operation of the school on a day-to-day basis.

Before becoming Assistant Head, Ms Idros was the Lead Teacher for Outreach. Prior to joining KCLMS, she was Head of Maths at Pimlico Academy for a decade.

Ms Idros has previously worked with local primaries to run maths masterclasses. In addition, she has provided maths consultancy and middle leadership mentoring for new heads of department. She has also been a GCSE examiner with Pearson.

Ms Idros also worked for MESME (Maths Education for Social Mobility and Enrichment). She obtained a BSc in Maths from Imperial College London. She subsequently trained through Teach First.
