Emma Lawsen

Lead Teacher (Academic Literacy and Wider Outcomes)

    Mrs Lawsen is responsible for coordinating the King's Certificate programme (for year 12 students) and for the Extended Project Qualification (for year 13 students). She is also responsible for the range of broader opportunities provided by the school: skills development, speakers, clubs and societies, and our programme of sport and exercise.

    Mrs Lawsen has a degree in Cultural Anthropology and Sociology from Pacific University, and a masters in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford. She completed her PGCE at King's College London and comes to us having spent two years teaching Sociology at Rhodes College. As part of her academic literacy brief, Mrs Lawsen manages the King's Certificate programme.
