Simon is the Headteacher of Oaklands School in Tower Hamlets. He has spent over 30 years serving some of the most disadvantaged communities in London and is committed to improving life chances for young people. Simon brings experience in leadership, curriculum, and community engagement to his role as a governor. He is an Economics graduate from the University of Manchester and began his career as a maths teacher. He has two decades of experience in senior leadership roles and six years as a Headteacher.
