Margaret Peacock

Chair of the Education Committee

Margaret is a College Governor who in addition to chairing the Education Committee sits on the Pay Committee and Head Teacher Performance Management panel. She is also the governor with responsibility for Safeguarding and SEND. Terms of office: 4 years from 2013-14, further extended to Summer 2025.

    Margaret Peacock retired from the headship of Chestnut Grove School in 2014, after 25 years in the post.   During that time, she was a National Leader in Education, supporting struggling schools in and outside of London. She now works as an educational consultant, providing leadership support and challenge, particularly to new and aspiring headteachers. She is also a governor of another secondary school in London and sits on the Board of Tara Arts.
