In your own words, what is King’s Maths School?

It’s a really nice, small community school. It has really good teachers and the classrooms are amazing, they have whiteboards everywhere! They have these small pods as well with whiteboards inside for us to discuss stuff.

What is exciting about King’s Maths School?

It’s exciting meeting new people, especially as we are all starting a brand new school together! When being shown around the school, I noticed an engineering classroom where we can build different things, maybe even flying objects!

As a new student, what at King’s Maths School are you looking forward to?

The maths! Everyone here is really focused, so you can discuss your interests and work with everyone.

What are the teachers like?

My first impression was that they are all really good. They like what they do and they really want to help us achieve.

What subject do you want to study at university?

At the moment I am interested in either aeronautics or physics. I’m interested in the way you can apply maths to build things, like planes or other items that fly or move. I also like design; I’m excited to design something and use maths to make it real!
