Anthea Ameer

Anthea started her career with Merrill Lynch where she was responsible for strategic marketing and planning for the Europe Middle East & Africa region before assuming the Head of Asset Management Sales role for the United Kingdom. After a decade, she joined Investcorp, a leading manager of global alternative investments where she focused on marketing of its absolute return hedge fund program.

These days, she runs an International Executive Search Business specialising in the financial services industry. Working with a select group of Global Financial Institutions, she is a ‘trusted advisor’ to top talent within the wealth management and investment banking sectors.

Born and educated in Scotland, where she spent her formative years; Anthea is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and an alumnus of Strathclyde University where she carried out critical analysis research of hedge funds, real estate and private equity in traditional portfolios and was awarded an MBA with Distinction.
