KCLMS launches Paid Teaching Internship Programme

KCLMS has launched a new Paid Teaching Internship Programme at its award-winning school in central London for this Summer 2022.

The scheme is ideal for undergraduates who are considering a career in teaching Maths, Physics or Computing and would like to gain hands-on experience in school.

The internships will be based in KCLMS' classrooms, working with a mixture of students and those from local secondary schools. Interns will learn from KCLMS' excellent teachers, supported by expert teacher trainers at King's College London.

Timings and pay

The internships will last three weeks, running from Monday 27th June until Friday 15th July 2022. Interns will receive £300 per week so a total of £900 on completion of the programme. They will continue to receive support after their internships to pursue their interest in teaching.

Eligibility

Applicants must be an undergraduate on a Maths, Physics, Computing or related degree and have not already accepted a place on a teacher training course.
