Open events
Find out more
Not sure if King's Maths School is for you? Want to find out more? Open events are great way to learn more about the school and to help you make a decision about whether to apply.
Open Evenings
Open evenings provide an opportunity to find out more about our curriculum and to meet key staff including the Head Teacher. Dates for open evenings (for admissions in September 2023) will be published here in early September.
Taster Days
Taster days provide an opportunity to be a King's Maths Student for a few hours. You will be taught lessons by King's Maths School teachers, in our classrooms, and experience our inspiring and unique style of teaching and learning.
There are limited places on taster days, and priority will be provided to students from under-represented groups, including:
- students from more challenging financial backgrounds, including those currently receiving Free School Meals and eligible for the pupil premium
- students who's parents / carers have not studied at university
- students from ethnicities less well represented in the mathematical sciences
- female students.
Dates for taster days (for admissions in September 2023) will be published here in early September.
We are happy to support travel costs to taster days for any students eligible for Free School Meals / the pupil premium. Please contact kclmsoutreach@kcl.ac.uk for further information.
360 virtual tour
COVID-19 restrictions mean that we are not able to host all open events at the school. But you can still see the building via this virtual tour, complemented by inspiring and fresh videos introducing you to our staff, student and alumni community.
