A taster day is an opportunity for you to find out what life and learning at King's Maths School is actually like. You will be taught mathematics by King's Maths School teachers and in the King's Maths School way - so by the end of your visit you'll have a sound basis for making your decisions about whether to apply.

These taster events are aimed at those who will apply for the school for entry in September 2021, that is pupils currently in year 11, and the sessions will be pitched at this level.

Please note that priority will be provided to students from under-represented groups, including:

• students from more challenging financial backgrounds, including those currently receiving Free School Meals and eligible for the pupil premium 
• students whose parents / carers have not studied at university 
• students from ethnicities less well represented in the mathematical sciences 
• female students
